First and foremost, I just want to say that we’re all here for you Dan, and my thoughts and love are with you, your family and gem during this trying time. You’re one of my longest and closest friends and I can only imagine the heartache you must be feeling. I really wish there was something I could say or do, and though you will probably need your space for a while, know that we are here for you when you are ready. You truly are much loved.

I feel so trivial talking about myself when I know a close friend is hurting…I’ll update this properly later.
