Today was the worst day ever. It started out alright but by the time I finished math, it was already bad. I usually don't care about grades, but since I have been getting straight A's in that class all year I actually did care, because we took a quiz and I completely bombed out on it. Next came science, where I got into a fight with the teacher and half the class, so she wanted to "talk" to me. I knew it was going to end up by having me kicked out of class, so I just walked out. I was originally going to walk around school until 4th period was over, because today was lab day. After 5 minutes that got really boring so I decided to do something productive, so I walked out the cut doors, through 4000 feet of snow, through the church lot, down to Foodtown, across Pompton, up the stairs to the bridge, and right to Devil's Hole. It's really relaxing there because it's (usually) quiet, so I just hung around and smoked a few cigarettes. After that, I went to Foodtown to take a crap in the nice clean bathroom there. Then I bought a pack of cigarettes with my last 6 dollars. So I headed back to school. Up that little back road behind behind Foodtown, up the church lot, through 4000 feet of snow again, and right in the cut doors. On the way back to school I fell in the snow twice because there were 5 foot tall snow banks which are not packed so I fell into them. Stupid plows. This is one of those times where the thought of dropping out flashed through my head. Today that stayed there for a long time. By the time I got home today I realized that I'd be letting down too many people. No, not my parents, but my friends.
Anyway, last night I started working at the Liberty St. Theater with Mike again. It was fun for the first ten minutes but when something goes wrong, no matter who fucks something up, it's my fault. The actors were supposed to be there at 5 to get their costumes on, and to start the rehersal at 5:30ish. We don't start until around 6:45 anyway, so me and Mike went outside to smoke sometime in between 5:30 and 6:30, so basically I'm the cause for starting late. Alex, the owner of the place is a douchebag, and he always has something up his ass. He was really nice when I first met him but he's just a prick looking for someone to fuck around with. I called Elliot (who is a liar) today and told him what's up and he wasn't happy with what I had to say but said it was my choice to leave. I told him I'll be there tonight and see if I stay or not.
On the more enjoyable side of things, I had a good weekend. On Friday, I went to the VHS Showcase and it really blew. 2 years ago they were so much more fun, and they would draw kids from other towns, and fill the place up. Now it's all emo and ska and poser fashion "metalcore." During the mosh for Arcanum, the "poser fashion 'metalcore'" band, Max split his pants right open. Yeah I don't like Arcanum because they had just hopped onto the hardcore bandwagon but I'm still kind of friends with them. Besides moshing at school is fun. Before the last band played, me and Cookiepus, spicy latino #1 (Natalia, just moved to Montclair from Peru), spicy latino #2 (Laura, a Peruvian from west orange, the spicier of the two, also Natalia's friend), and not-so-spicy latino (Jasmine or some shit like that, she has a d00d. Whatever) went out to eat. The next day (Saturday) I went to Morgan's Farm and played hockey with Kivet and Schultz, and later that night I went to BAC and helped out at the ska show. That might have been the greatest time I've ever had for free. Saw alot of Verona kids, and the Miasmics guys. Also, me, JJ, that Brady kid and "that other kid that was at Jesse's house that time" were outside making fun of this kid Allot (spelling?) who was trying to give us trouble. So I threw a cigarette butt at him (aka dodging bullets) and JJ threatened him. Also we somehow tied the Lion King to him and started making fun of Simba and Hakuna Matata in relation to him somehow. I was trying to teach Schultz how to meet people, but he failed. Miserably. Spicy latino #2 (Laura) gave me her phone number, and I also met this freshman Danielle girl who gave me some digits. Shit, I was pimpin'.
