Dear God,
Sorry to bother you but I hope you get this letter,
So maybe you'll take a look at the world and make it little bit better
You created us in your image, does this mean you are blood hungry and voilent?
Because we are killing eachother, when you created us is this what you ment?
There is so much wrong with the world today, and so much time is spent believing
We can't do this to ourselves, we cannot believe in you anymore
Dear God,
Are you getting this down? Am I making myself clear?
We are all sick and tired of you always letting us down, your letting your people drown
The children are starving on the their feet. America is rich
But there is still nothing to eat
And religious men are blowing each other up in the street
Because they can make they're ideas of you meet.
Oh God,
why aren't you listening?
Why can't you take a look, go ahead and take a look
So you can see how the world has become so divided
Because of bullshit written in some book
About sinners,and saints, heaven and hell
racism, sexism, homophobia as well
And the people born in your image continue to believe in it
So give them they're conflict,and give them they're wars, as long as they've got the good book,
And an image of yours, they'll contiue to believe that this junk is true
But I know it isn't, and so do you.
