Summary: Aizen and Gin have prepared a welcome gift for young Ulquiorra Schiffer. All Ulquiorra has to do is accept their generous offer and join the Concavos.

( If Ulquiorra refused, however, Sousuke would be treated to another performance of his favourite play, starring Gin Ichimaru as the Angel of Death. )

OK, so that bit about the building being grateful that they would 'replace screams with laughter before they left' was delightfully creepy. And then y'all get into descriptions of Aizen's and Gin's love of--not just violence, pain, and it's just so on-point it's horrifying. And Ulquiorra's hesitance in coming but his recognition that if he doesn't ally with someone he'd either die or be stuck on the bottom provides the rest of this scene with a very interesting framework.

...and I'm going to stop commenting on every little thing I liked now so I can actually read the log through.

And then the trap clicks shut. Beautiful. Loved Aizen's smug 'gotcha' and his bemused curiosity at Ulquiorra's actions and Gin's twirl of the gun. And Ulquiorra's rebirth by blood was...just wow. Fascinating, intense, horrible, apt...it was extremely well-done.

Great job, you guys. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics of this 'partnership' develop.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I had so much fun writing it with LCP and Day and it helped me get over my fear of writing Aizen. XD

Thanks for reading/commenting - it was an intense log to write, and I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I may have had the smallest part to play. Love working with talents like Ling and D8, with their descriptiveness and little, sometimes subtle nuances that add so much depth to their work.

I love that bit about the building, as well. It was absolutely awesome writing with Ling and LCP, and I'm looking forward to the next time.
