I'll always remember him lighting the torch at the Olympics in Atlanta. That's the first image that pops into my mind when he is mentioned.

I confess that the first thing that comes to my mind is the "What's my name!?" drama, or else the 'float like a butterfly, sting like a bee' riff.

That's probably what pops into most people's minds. It's part of the American trash talking cultural zeitgeist of the '60s and '70s. I think that the torch lighting pops into mine because it's the most recent and truly, I dislike boxing. I am only vaguely aware of boxers and their hijinx.
