i've had some time to think about you on the long ride home

so my parents figured out that i haven't taken my meds in a month and a half, and went and told my doctor. now i'm back on them again, and i feel like shit. my body has to get used to them again. i had forgotten how sucky it feels.

so lets see, tech week is finally over! seriously, if i ever agree to plan and supervise the scenery for two shows at the same time 2 weeks before opening night again ....tie me to a chair. don't let me do it. i think that this scenery stuff has drained me of any emotional or physical energy i have left.

good news though! most people reading this already know, but on November 12 or 13 i'm going to be singing at the Stone Pony. wait....

IM GOING TO BE SINGING AT THE STONE PONY!!! AHHHH!

woo ok out of my system. Jody is holding a benefit concert for the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Awareness organization, and she asked me to sing in it. It's not a huge thing, a lot of the kids sing...but still. Megan Henderson on the stage at the world famous Stone Pony (well, world famous to Bruce fans). I have to pick the perfect song. As many of you know, this particular cause hits home for me, so i need to be singing something that hits home as well. i want people to be smiling and crying at the same time. is that a lot to ask?

We used to listen to the radio
And sing along with every song we know
We said someday we'd find out how if feels
To sing to more than just the steering wheel
