YAY!!! Day 6 in Kandahar, Aghanistan and we get a mortor attack at 3:30pmZ(zulu)time which is 8 pm local time here. Other than that it's been an uneventfull...
Day 1: We arrive in KAB(Kandahar Air Base) at around 5:00pmZ then we went to go get our rooms then go walk around and find things. After that we slept.
Day 2: We find out what our jobs are, I was assigned Surface Container management, which is nothing related to my job that i was trained on. So we arrive at work and i go on one mission to move a container, or just to see what we have to do. Well after that we were done for the day, it took about 45 mins, because we were messing around.we finished at around 5:00amZ. We are finished for the day, but we have to remain at work until 1:00pmZ. So it's go to work from 1:00amZ leave work at 1:00pmZ. 12 hour shifts YAY!!!!!!
Day 3: Pretty much the same thing we had four missions to do that daybut the one I had to do go cancelled. SSSSSOooooooooI sat around in our little break rooms and watched movies all day
Day 4: Same damn thing except We had an accedent this day. A female soldier I worked with was driving a Kalmar(picks up things... I'll bring pictures later, and probably post them up on my Facebook, so you guys get a better picture of what I'mtalking about. Anyways she ran into some power lines that was there for the Brits to get power, well She knocked 3 poles down while driving back with the arm extended and upwards.
Day 5:... Same damn thing.... Do a couple of missions be finieshed by 9:00Z and watch movies for the rest of the time, except the company we are working with don't really like us due to the Day 4 incedent. So as they were leaving thier person incharge (was her B-Day this day) heard one of our seargents tell her to have a good birthday night, and she replied"Fuck this night, Fuck you guys, and I hope you guys burn in hell". YAY!!!!!!>bitch<...... Anyways they leave in less than 5 days so good by bastards!.
Day 6: LLook up above and you will see the most exciting thing for the day.
Well that's how Aghanistan has been going so far, seems like it's going to be one long ass year....... I should be home for R&R by the 18th of November....I'll post more.
TSCHUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
