Hey guys! It's me. Yep. Finally got the internet online. There was a very epic battle between us and the stupid router that didn't want to work. But we kicked it's stubborn metallic ass in the end. So it's been a while. And it's late so I'm not going to go into huge detail about the house or anything. But a couple random things first...
+ The bloody TV guide said that Harper's Island was going to be on at 11 tonight after the Biggest Loser but it isn't! It's just some lame motorcycle racing. Who wants to watch people going around and around at 11o'clock on a Sunday night. Seriously. It's putting me to sleep.
+ I unplugged my ipod the other day without "safely ejecting" it or whatever. Wiped the entire thing blank and now I have to reformat it and wait for all of my songs to load on there again. Which at this rate is probably going to take all night.
+ Made a twitter a while ago and finally made an update just before :P A couple of random people have added me even before I updated which freaks me out a little. Who are you crazy twitter stalkers? There are much more interesting people than me out there for you to follow. I'm a little unsure as to the state of their mental stability. Which really doesn't put me in any kind of rush to go telling them all about my life. I'm holding off on any hardcore twittering until I get my hands on the new superawesome sidekick lx 2009 which has a very nice looking twitter application built it. Once I have it with me wherever I go, then I'll let the obsession run free. Oh, it's http://twitter.com/harbourlight btw ;)
+ The Aussie dollar is getting nice and high again. So of course I went shopping on Amazon... Spent about $160 but it would have cost me over 200 if I had bought the exact same things a couple of months ago. And I saved $10 buying 4 books for the price of 3. Hopefully it wont take too long to get here. It's usually around 2-3 weeks. But I want it all now! Especially season 2 of the Office! I should have just bought that in a store here, but it was cheaper online.
+ Finished reading City of Glass yesterday. Wow. I can't wait until work tomorrow so I can jump up and down with Marnie squeeing about how awesome Jace is. Which says a lot because Monday mornings suuuccck.
+ Oh and I saw I Love You, Man this afternoon. Frickin' hilarious! Seriously! This movie had me laughing constantly. I love Paul Rudd. And Jason Segal!!!!
Alright well that's everything I can remember at this current moment in time. So...
Moving out of home is strange. I'm sure it's different for everyone. I'm just a freakishly mellow person. But I really don't see what the big deal is. I'm just like "Yeah. This is my house now. Eh..". It really doesn't seem like a whole lot has changed. The only really weird thing is spending so much time with Marissa and Aaron. Considering I'm going from seeing them twice a month to every single day. But I'm used to it now I guess.
Money isn't as big of an issue as I thought it would be. I tend to over budget so everythings going ok so far. I need to buckle down now though and start saving for the expensive phone I plan to buy in a couple of months.
Laundry is fun. It's all so new. I threw a white shirt in with my other stuff yesterday just to see what would happen. It's a little grey now and has some weird spots on it. So that was interesting. My parents bought us a brand new washing machine. Aaron got a new dryer and Marissa bought a new fridge the other day so we're pretty much all set.
Um.. I really don't know what else to say about it. But if there's anything you're particularly curious about just ask. I hope you are all doing alright. I'll see what I can do about catching up on my friends page throughout the week :)
