the plumbing is fixed

I'm listening to various music for class tomorrow. I need a good 'follow me' piece and a good 'armsong' which is a song you do armwork to. the plumber guy finally came this morning. Tuesday I come home from work and the plumbing van is out front and I was like 'shit the 1 day I'm home late from work and he is on time', so I go to the van and no one is in there yet it is running, so I go inside, make it look like I AM HOME, and I keep checking, and I was home for about 45 minutes and this guy never so much as called or knocked and I saw him leave and I did figure out after a while that perhaps he was working on another condo. No biggie, that happens we are not the only ones here so I don't sweat it too much. So by 4 pm no one showed up and I left a message there saying this van was out my door for 45 minutes and I didn't see anyone in there and no one knocked, etc.... Oh and he had the nerve to leave a note on our door saying we weren't home.
So yesterday I decided to try another company, and they were on it and I told them to be sure to knock and told them above story and they laughed and said 'don't worry' and while I was at work the 1st company called up and said 'hey you're not home'. well? I'm not home on wednesday afternoons, that's why I had them come on tuesday. (slap!) Anyways...a happy ending occured when the 2nd company showed up at 8:15am sharp, and they did the job and I'm happy. He actually confirmed what Pete and I had been experiencing with that pipe. yay. we're not crazy. It turned out the seal we had replaced broke and an entire section now needed to be replaced and we had tried tightening it and he said if that inner seal is broke you won't know unless the leak keeps there. It would still feel and be tight on the outside. I was glad to know it wasn't something we couldn't do ourselves.

yesterday was nice. We tried to go out to eat but everyplace was packed so we went to super bear and got fresh shrimp and a lobster tail (why get lobster in alaska? oh yes, pete loves them) and in the lobster tank there was one lone lobster just huddled in the corner just waiting to be put into that mighty hot tub on the stove. and we cooked it up in lots of butter and garlic, and then we ate vermonty python ice cream and it was fun. Pete lit candles in the living room and we drank sparkling cherry juice and he got me flowers. I got him a ween hat that hasn't come in yet and he bemoaned the fact he had no present for me and I reassured him that we would probably find some really cool thing in Florida we could no way afford had he gotten me a valentine present and now he'll be able to afford it. He laughed because I have champagne taste.

Ok I must go to the bank and move my sewing stuff from the kitchen into the random chamber. Godzilla is climbing all over the chair.
