Re-Capping Last Night
So...the night started out a little weary, when plans got changed/cancelled...whatever. But then, I talked to Julie, and everything worked out very well. She brought her huge and really cool camera. Haha. I wanna see those pictures. The drive there was long...5 of us in Sarah's car...the windows kept fogging up. And there was traffic. But then we got there, and it was all good.
The first band - I don't know who they were...but it was a big dissapointment when we learned that they were not Death Cab. Ergh. So then Death Cab came out. And they pretty much stunk it up. "I need you so much closer....I need you so much closer...whoa oooh ooh..." (and repeat that 20 more times and you've pretty much got the band).
THEN finally Ben came out. He's got such a baby face, with hugely chubby cheeks. He reminded me of a chipmunk. Haha. His concert was really really good. I liked it, a lot. And he sounded awesome. He played BK Baby, that was exciting. And Sha-Sha. ANd Wasted and Ready. And some new songs from his newest CD. And Harriet's Got A Song and Family Tree and Lizzie and...some other ones, too. I noticed that EVERYONE sang along. The place was pretty much full, too. And it was cool that everyone was singing along with him. and loudly as well. Oh and his encore was In Other Words and No Reason - that one was really awesome.
Arthur ripped the tag off of some girls Old Navy jacket - now she can't return it. LoL. And Ben Kweller ran into the microphone. There was a lot of smoking. And stupid people trying to push their way up to the front. But other than that...it was a good show (at least BK's part).
This update kinda sucks...I'm tired. SO sue me. And my back is still cramped up, I can only bend down so far. Or sit up so straight. And my shins hurt as well. Ergh.
Well, I'm going to go finish getting ready for school.
