Nadiyah: *quietly* Gorlim? Are you in here? The servents said you are in here...
Gorlim: I'm here, my lady...
Nadiyah: I hear you were hurt.
Gorlim: *fidgets, scooting where she can see him* Nothing serious, my lady.
Nadiyah: But you ARE hurt. *scowls*
Gorlim: Just a broken hand. And a twisted ankle. They'll heal.
Nadiyah: Just...? Which hand?
Gorlim: *shows her* The right one.
Nadiyah: Is that your sword hand?
Gorlim: No. Other one, thank heavens.
Nadiyah: That's good. *regarding you thoughtfully* Are you coming to dinner?
Gorlim: Halbarad had invited me...
Nadiyah: He told me. I am inviting you too.
Gorlim: *smiles* Oh! I'm glad. Thank you, my lady.
Nadiyah: *smiling, but folding my arms* Then come out.
Gorlim: What, now?
Nadiyah: Yes please.
Gorlim: *smiles* Any dress code or is this a sort of come-as-you-are thing?
Nadiyah: *puzzled, the term not familiar* I like you how you are.
Gorlim: Very well. *offers his arm to her* I asked Halbarad, but I'd like to hear it from you. How do you fare these days?
Nadiyah: Well enough. Better than I WILL be, I think. *I sigh, taking your arm reluctantly* My mother had hard times with babies. I worry.
Gorlim: There are very good healers here. And Luthien! She has special magic. So does Eomer. I'm not sure what, exactly, but you'll be all right.
Nadiyah: Halbarad thinks so too.
Gorlim: See? You have us BOTH on your side! Not that that's necessarily as asset... *winks and nudges her gently as they walk*
Nadiyah: Not when I have to babysit you both, no...
Gorlim: You don't have to babysit us! We are perfectly fine on our own.
Nadiyah: *I merely eye you*
Gorlim: Whaaat?
Nadiyah: You are NOT fine on your own. Tsk.
Gorlim: Sure we are! I mean..... Sure we are!
Nadiyah: No, you are not. These things always happen when I am not there. *My tone is gentle, not scolding*
Gorlim: *pouts* You couldn't have done much.
Nadiyah: You do not know that for sure.
Gorlim: No. I don't know most things for sure. But I can stuipulate.
Nadiyah: You can what?
Gorlim: Tell you that it's so because I say it's so. So there. *grin*
Nadiyah: *I merely sigh -- it's not worth arguing* All right.
Gorlim: *tugs her closer, jostling her playfully* I'm only teasing, you know.
Nadiyah: It is hard to tell, sometimes.
Gorlim: I'm sorry. It seems a lot of people are having trouble with me these days.
Nadiyah: It will pass, I am sure. *shrug* Right now I just would like to have dinner with you! *squeezing your arm*
Gorlim: *smiles* You're a good woman, lady Nadiyah.
