As the curtain of snow coming down around them gets thicker and visibility poorer by the second, and Arthur hears Merlin stumble again, he stops with a sigh. Wordlessly and without looking back, he holds out his hand behind him in unmistakable invitation. He rolls his eyes when Merlin's hand closes around his firmly, though not without another stagger, but he remains silent and just tugs gently.

Slowly but with more confidence, they trudge on through the knee-high snow, completely unaware that they are now wearing identical smiles.

Water runs along his hands into his sleeves, it runs from his hair into his eyes, and it drips from his chin. He can feel it sliding down his back, too, soaking him to the bone. He doesn't care. Ich bin ja damals mit fanfic das erste mal konfrontiert worden, als ich in den USA gelebt hab, und war ganz ganz lange nicht bereit, selbst zu schreiben, weil ich mir einfach nicht sicher war, ob mein Englisch ausreichen würde... irgendwann hat's mich aber doch gepackt, wobei ich zugeben muss, dass meine ersten Versuche rückblickend ganz ganz schlecht und ziemlich peinlich sind. XD XD ist aber auch schon fast 10 jahre her.

und inzwischen bin ich schon durch ganz schön viele fandoms gegaukelt... (sieht man auf meinem fic journal...) ^_^.

bei längeren sachen wag ich mich allerdings nur an fandoms, in denen ich mich sicher fühle, was die charaktere angeht. bei ficlets und sentence-fic lass ich meistens alles gelten, mit eben der bedingung, dass ich das canon ganz/up to date kennen muss. ^_^
