and Yuletide has a lot of awesome stories in obscure fandoms, which is why I love it so much. Have you checked the old archive, as well? There's a couple more there, too.
I also found a goldmine for TP fic (a whole archive, to be precise) at
http://thekingsown.org/index.php if you wanna point her there, too. ^_~
Yuletide=♥♥♥!
bad thing about it is, though, that it usually wakes the urge for more in those fandoms...and there just isn't any. that's why they're a part of yuletide. because there is nothing out there....^^;;
Not sure how I first got into Togainu no Chi (doujinshi/artbook/manga...), but I was looking forward to the anime, and I didn't think it all bad per se... just the ending was somewhat...hfdgjalksöjflak. yes.
Akira actually saves Keisuke and gets him off the drugs about one or two episodes later. There was no downward spiral, just temporary madness (that almost got Akira killed, but...*cough*). But I can understand if you don't wanna watch it. it's interesting, though, to find out what 'line' actually is. a drug, yes, but also much more than that...

I totally get what you are saying about Yuletide. It also made me wish for fic in some other fandoms.
hmmm I might have to rewatch at some point knowing that. If it is short term I can handle it. I thought, for some reason, once you were on it that was it.
