Dearest Yuletide gift giver...
First of all, I' want to thank you in advance, because I'm sure that no matter which request you decide to fulfill, it will make me happy. All of them are fandoms that I hold dear and that I haven't really found much fic for (or none at all), so I'm really looking forward to read anything you'll write for me.
However, in order to give you a somewhat more detailed idea of what I normally like to read, I've written down some hints and tips. I've tried to keep them as general as possible while still making them (hopefully) helpful.
Very generally speaking, I love both slash and het equally (and I have a soft spot for threesomes, as you can see from my requests). I'm also ok with any rating, but I have to admit that I do love smut and romance or at least the implication of it. However,if that is not something you feel comfortable with, don't worry about it.
Further, while I've read gen fic before, I do, by far, prefer fic that features a pairing/pairings of some sort. I'm a HUGE fan of first time/get together fics, so that's what I mostly read. I also like action, romance, fluff, PWP, fantasy, supernatural, mystery and adventure fic.
However, most of the time, and unless very well done, I'm not hugely into complete AUs (for example, Harry Potter as a Roman soldier and Draco as the Egyptian pharao or something like that). I prefer stories that take place in the world of the canon or have at least some sort of relation to it, though the timeline or even the story within that world can be totally different. Often I'm also not really looking for a particular plot in fic - though I do like plot XD - but rather for certain elements, some of which are listed below (in totally random order):
Likes: first times; get togethers; sweetness; smut; mild kink; banter; teasing; cuddling; casual touching; bisexuality; arguing; fighting (physically and with words); "opposites attract"; humor; strong characters; mischief; "actions speak louder than words"; tough guys; laughter; (sexual) tension; introspection; threesomes; joking; hair; a touch of angst; gentleness; rough sex; happy endings or endings that provide at least some sort of resolution
Dislikes: death fic; mpreg; extreme possessivness/jealousy; character bashing; whiny, weepy men; torture and humiliation; totally unresolved angst; angst for the sake of angsting; uber-fluff; uber-cutsieness
Furthermore, I've also put down a bit more on the specific requests in addition to the details given in the sign-up:
Request 1: Amatsuki
Toki/Kon/Kuchiha
Sign-up Details: I'd love to see some romantic involvement between Toki and Kon (and Kuchiha!), even if only implied, and bonus points if there is anything "first time" involved. I do love the three of them together, but if the threesome's not an option I would prefer Toki/Kon. Smut is very welcome, but any rating is ok, really. Please no death or totally unresolved angst/hurt. A happy ending would actually make me the happiest.
As with most pairings I like, it's the differences in character/strenghts and weaknesses that make this pairing/threesome interesting to me - personalities that clash and complete eachother at the same time. I also really like the world of Amatsuki and how everything seems to be shades of gray instead of black and white, so what I'd love to see is how in this world, the growing bond between Toki and Kon (and Kuchiha) is what becomes what ancors them and makes them feel safe (and loved).
Request 2: Dark Angel
Alec/Max
Sign-up Details: I just love the chemistry between these two, the fighting, the banter, the "eyerolling"...and I'd really like to see how that tension turns into something more. Get-together/first time would be wonderful and smut very welcome, but feel free to write within your comfort zone. I'll be happy with other ratings, too. Please no death or totally unresolved angst/hurt, though. A happy ending would actually make me very very happy.
I believe that if a third season had taken place, there would have been something more between Max and Alec. While I did like Max and Logan, I just adore the sparks between Max and Alec - the fights, both their strength, so I wouldn't mind to see some fighting between them, too, or some sort of competition leading to passion of a different kind. I'd also love to see the tender beginnings of trust (and love) contrasting with all the fighting and disagreements.
Request 3: La Corda D'Oro
Len Tsukimori, Ryotaro Tsuchiura, Kahoko Hino
Sign-up Details: This is one of the fandoms where I just can't decide on a preferred pairing. Len/Ryo or Ryo/Kaho (or Len/Kaho)...which is why I'd just throw them into one big threesome-pile. : ) If that's not your thing, though, I like any combination of the three. Get-together/first time would be my favorite type of story, and smut is very welcome, though certainly not a requirement. Any rating is ok, really. Please no death or totally unresolved angst/hurt, though. A happy ending would actually make me very very happy.
As I said in the sign-up details, I just can't decide on who I like best together in this series. I love the clashing of character/rivalry between Ryotaro and Len, the slowly blossoming, reluctant trust between Len and Kaho, and the easy friendship Ryotaro and Kaho seem to fall into. Their personalities/strengths complete each other, but are different enough to raise certain tensions that would make the forming of a relationship rather interesting.
Also, something that I really like about the series in general (though just how far this could be done in reality is questionable) is how they just take their instruments anywhere, pull them out of their cases and just play - on the roof, in the park, by the riverside... a scene like that somewhere in the story would definitely be a huge plus. ^_^
Request 4: 07-Ghost
Frau/Teito
Sign-up Details: I would love to see some romantic involvement between Frau and Teito or at least the tender beginnings of it (if it's not your thing, though, friendship is ok, too). One of the scenes I absolutely love is in the end scene of the anime where they escape and Teito leans his head against Frau's back. If the story conveys that sort of feeling that is in that scene, that would be the greatest gift of all. Smut is very welcome, but any rating is ok, really. Please no death or totally unresolved angst/hurt. A happy ending would actually make me very very happy.
What I love about these two, is the way they interact and how their relationship evolves throughout the series: Teito's reluctant and grudging acceptance that Frau's not as bad as it seems and that Teito can actually trust him (and does), as well as Frau's rough, yet gentle care for Teito. So, anything that brings across that sort of feeling, that subtle gentleness that is between them but that neither would admit to, would make me very happy. A get-together would be the cherry on top.
