Missing Yellow Tape
We went to bed last night after the police wrapped up the house with yellow Police Scene tape.There were still several officers walking around the house and yard - we had already been - well VERY informally questioned by a cop who looked like Mario Lopez. He didn't take our names, just asked if we heard anything.
This morning the tape is gone and there is nothing on the news about the ordeal. I don't know if that means they have found Michael - because surely a murderer on the loose is newsworthy - or perhaps he killed himself. The tape is down this morning - whatever that means. I guess the sales staff at Gentry Homes is relieved about that! Nothing like a killing a block down from the model homes to put a damper of sales.
I don't know - Oahu seems pretty safe generally - but maybe this sort of thing happens a lot? It is disconcerting that there is no news about it. But then - as slacker as everyone is around here maybe the news staff doen't make late-breaking changes to their lineup. Maybe news of the murder came after deadline? Will keep you updated.
In happier news - Uncle Craig is in town and I think we're going to see him today!
