JAY IS SO AWESOME!!!
So remember a couple of days ago I posted about getting a new dog? Well, we got her. She is too cute!! I have to post the pics tomorrow.
Jay went to the pound Tuesday just because. It's right near his job. He saw one dog and we went to see it after I got off work. We were #2 on the waiting list. The next day he goes in again to see if they had any more dogs we might like just in case we didn't get the first one. He put us on the list. We were #2 again. So today when he picks me up he says, "We didn't get the either dog. Sorry." I'm all heartbroken. I really wanted another dog. We come home and I'm like, "What's that?" I walk into the dining room and there's Carley. I screamed, "OMG YOU'RE AWESOME!!" Over the next hour, I think I said, "You're awesome" and "I love you" like 50 times. He totally surprised me. It had me totally convinced we didn't get the dog.
This is pretty much what happened when we got Charley. The lady who was gave him to us first gave the dog to her nephew. We were really upset because she promised us the dog first. After a day the nephew didn't want the dog anymore and asked Jay if we were still interested. He didn't tell me this. After work one day he picks the dog up and surprised me at my grandparent's house with Charley.
So we now have Charley Rey and Carley Reyna. I know we are such dorks.
