AWESOMENESS INDEED. And it's so funny, because when I first saw Route 666 I wasn't really paying attention and I never got a feel for Cassie or Dean/Cassie, and I just figured she must have been really bitchy or something for fandom to dislike her so much. But then I did a mini-marathon with a friend a while ago and I saw it and I was like OMG, THIS BITCH IS FIERCE. And naturally, she and Dean were great together! I have been ~enlightened~.

For some reason people just hate that episode in general so they hate Cassie by extension. And then some people can't get over the fact that she broke Dean's heart. Never mind the fact that it was completely understandable.
