african diaspora
The African Diaspora is the movement of Africans, primarily those that were enslaved centuries ago, across the world. The link explains it much better than I could. As an African-American, this topic has always intrigued me. I took a lot of courses on this topic in college.
Batman
How can you not love Batman? I got into Batman from the Fox animated series that came on when I was in middle school. I loved it because it was a dark Batman, well as dark as a cartoon that came on in the middle of the day could be. My favorite Batman movie of all time is the one by Tim Burton starring Michael Keaton. My second is the one by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale. Can’t wait for the new one coming out in July.
fan fic of color
The majority of the tv shows I watch are shows where a majority of the cast are white. And I noticed that the non-white characters don’t often get as much fic written about them. I’m not going to get into a whole race and tv (behind the scenes and audience preferences, and who writes fan fic) thing. For me, I just started searching out fan fic about those particular characters because it doesn’t seem to be as readily available.

Leonardo Dicaprio
I’ve just always liked him. He’s way easy on the eyes and good at his job. I highly recommend: This Boy’s Life, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and The Departed.
Pop
I like pop music. Most of it anyway. Sometimes you just need music that makes you want to get up and dance.
Shia Laboeuf
I think he’s cute and funny and good at his job.

She writes black erotica. I should say she writes well-written black erotica. Nuff said, right?
