over the past six months, my life has completely changed before my eyes. suddenly, my priorities, or the things that were important to me, have shifted pretty dramatically. i am no longer with lyg, thank god, but my loyalty and friendship revolve around some of the people in that group who decided to want to get to know me many many years ago, and i'm forever grateful for having them become a part of my family. each of my best friends have taught me or given me something: matt & michael for being like brothers to me (with matt's graceful innocence, michael's witty charms, and my motherly instincts we've managed to form a bond priceless to me), kim for always giving and receiving advice and for her good humor, shevonda for her laid-back, yet introspective views on life (i promise i'll call you!), aaron for showing me that hard work and persistance pays off (i'll call you too!), melissa for her eternal loyalty & sweetness (we've been friends since the 3rd grade), and justin for being my soundboard, my pillow/blanket, my mentor, my teddy bear, my comedian, my everything. i guess i'm kinda sentimental right now, but i think that i don't show enough appreciation for all of my friends, far and wide - from the kids i grew up with in freeport, illinois, to the kids at jeff high i still keep in touch with, to the (ex)peeps at lyg, and my silly, good time buddies at college & beyond... i <3 you!!!
