my life lately
EDIT: AAAAAHHH I FOUND OUT WHERE I'M LIVING! I'm in Jones!!!! My first choice!!!!!!! YAY!! And I sent my roomie a Facebook message AND an email. She totally probably thinks I'm a stalker now. Oh well. BUT YAY!! I'M IN JONES!!!!!!
Reeeeal brief update....
*started a real journal. Ish.
*was at seneca lake for two weeks! swimming, kayaking, drinking, drama, cooking, eating, stickers.
*i'm interning at a manhattan improv theater. It's pretty neat. As I told Greg online, "I'm working where we saw that group meat ("sheeelaaaac!") it's kinda fun, they send me around the city to pick things up and drop things off. yesterday i drew a floorplan of the theater because they are applying for a liquor license. i thought it was pretty bad but my bosses really liked it. in exchange i'm taking an improv class for fifty dollars, which rocks. i love the people in my class, and the teacher rocks.
*I've been getting lots of free stuff in the mail. hooray.
*tonight i made mock-buffalo-chicken.
*I'm on Weight Watchers. I even went to a meeting. I'll be going every Tuesday night, which means I probably shouldn't have...
*applied for a job today at the new ice cream parlor down the street from my house.
*i might have hypothyroidism, which could help explain my: hair loss, constant coldness, fatique, MASSIVE FUCKING WEIGHT GAIN, and dark elbows. Yes, dark elbows, I shit you not. People with hypothyroidism have, as I do, "elephant-skin" elbows.
*I'm eightteen!
*i'm helping nick out with his oceanside library working-with-middle-school-kids-doing-drama program. And gettin' some money. Just for bossing around twelve-year-olds for a total of six hours. God bless superfluous library budgets (is that the word? superfluous?)
*i got some great graduation and birthday gifts, like a digital camera and oil paint paraphanalia!
*did some loan stuff, applied for my stafford loan and perkins loan today....rawr.
*i'm kinda worried. i've been back for a week, but i was away for the first two weeks of summer vacation, and i haven't seen anyone in the week i've been back. i hope my friends remember who i am and still wanna hang out with me.... (aside from nick, whom i've seen a bunch. we don't like nick.)
*wow, so, i was walking my dog the other day, and this woman was following me and came up to me and said she was an off-duty cop and threatened to prosecute me if my dog pooped and she was all up in my grill but eerily calm and quiet.....it scared the SHIT out of me. that's the abbreviated version. then i kept walking and this young guy started making small talk with me, asking my name and how my day was and stuff. he was smiling a lot and kept asking questions. so that was an eventful walk....old ladies hate me and young guys love me..............should have worn a longer skirt.
