I'm thrusting myself back into the world of Livejournal-ing (I'm so serious this time too).

So three weeks ago, Appleton introduces me to this Romanian techno song that Grace and Vicky knew about too, O-Zone's "Dragostea din tei." I really like it (still do) and listen to it frequently. However, what I assumed was an obscure track of europop is actually spreading like crazy. Take the following into account:

1) I'm sitting at my computer and all of a sudden, I start hearing the beginning of the song. I look around in confusion and make sure that my iPod and iTunes are both off. - it was coming from my roommate's cellphone who was listening to the song his friend made him listen to
2) I am walking to class and passing two rooms on my floor, I hear the same song playing
3) Appleton and I walk to DuPont Circle to pick up Vicky at Cosi's. While waiting for her to finish up closing, we pass by 10-12 fortysomething year olds singing the song in their drunken stupor...

It's spreading and I am scared.

Btw - happy valentines day.
