Camp Kenwal
Friday, first day at Kenwal. I wake up at 6:45 after going to bed at 2. Bonnie wakes me up at 6:47 then goes back to sleep. Mal picks me up at 7:15 with much needed coffee and we depart for Kenwal. I hang out with her and Trudy at early care until 8:45, when I head up to the lake to tackle boating for the day. My co-counselor, Lauren, and I hit off quickly and she continues to make fun of me for not knowing where East Meadow is ("If there was something there, I would know where it is." "What's in Plainview?" "Lonestar."). The Inter Boys were so rambunctious (Hose boy!) and their counselors did shit but I made it through the slow day. Highlights include being mobbed by Fara's girls, who were so cute and nice. Stef's girls were also cute, except the ones that kept on singing "Stefanie and Stanley sitting in a tree..." argh.
Today, watched Donnie Darko, 50 First Dates (cried a little, I'm a sap.) and Camp.
