(no subject)
I really hate the small amount of time I always seem to have before leaving for work. I want to do something but I don't wanna do something that I'll get too into and not want to stop. I'm sitting here staring at the clock. Bah!
Oh yeah! A few weeks ago when I was complaining about my job and then said I fixed it. Well I did fix it. I gave my notice and quit. I've got a new job already that I started just this week. I really like it though. Even if it is weird hours. I'm sort of a companion/nurse. I'm taking care of a man that has MS. He's such a sweet and funny man. I love just sitting and talking with him. The job is really fairly easy and just feel into my lap. Great money and reasonable hours. I can't complain. All I have to do is watch his television shows with him, get his snacks, medication, and lifting him out of his chair and into the wheel chair to take him to the bathroom. I usually just go in at 11:00 pm until 2:00 am. I get him to bed at 2:00 and then I leave. I do the same for about three hours during the day also while his wife is at work. Overall I really like it and it turns out when I was looking through his family's genealogy book he's distantly related to my grandfather. It really is a small world.
Anyway his name is David and he usually switches back and forth between Leno and Letterman. Normally he would've changed it when Justin came on Leno lastnight but his daughter had let it slip when I first got there that I love Justin just as much as she does so he let me watch it. :)
But yeah like I said now I'm waiting to go in and I don't wanna get started on anything. I do have a little over three hours. I suppose I could clean house a bit but yuck. lol
