Hello old friend.
Wow, it's been months since I've been here. Everything is so hectic. I haven't been online more than fifteen minutes at a time since like two weeks before Christmas. *sigh*
I did get married on Christmas Eve. I guess there may be some people that don't know yet. Anyway we were married Christmas Eve in the evening. The day after Christmas Chris had to leave to go to Alabama for training. He's in the guard and he was called down there to learn BlackHawk maintenance. They think that if he's flying them he should know how to fix them and such. :|
He's been in Alabama since then which really sucks. I was able to go down for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago. In a way though it kind of sucked because now that I'm home I miss him more than I did before. It's been nearly two months now since he's been home.
He missed Josh's birthday on Friday. Josh was upset but he knows that his dad didn't miss his birthday by choice. We had a big birthday party for him today with all kinds of family and some of his friends. It just didn't seem right though without Chris. He's never missed Josh's birthday even during the time we weren't together.
I'm so afraid that all of this new training means he's going to be sent overseas. Obviously there's nothing I can do to stop that happening either and I don't think he'd not go even if he had the choice if he were called to go.
Oh also I'm pregnant. I've known since the beginning of January but after the last time and the miscarriage and all I was afraid to say anything for a while. I just wanted to give it more time or whatever. I told my family last week because my mother mentioned that I was putting on weight. I've only gained five pounds so far which is a surprise the way I've been eating. lol I'm due August 5th and I still haven't told Chris. It just never seems like the right time. He's always so tired and he's homesick like crazy. I don't wanna upset him anymore. I know I need to tell him soon though.
Think I'll get Josh in the bath now. He's been all hyped up on sugar and birthday presents all day he'll probably crash early.
