The Search is OVER!
After 2 weeks of emailing professors, trying not sound too desperate about a lab position. I finally got a response last Friday. I met with Professor Fleming, who is in the Nutritional Science and Toxicology Department. She offered me a position in one of her labs. I know, it's not Neuro...which is fine. In fact, I don't even know if I'm going to wind up in grad school pursuing Neuro...I just don't know what I'm going to do. But, it's great to finally be given the opportunity. I'll be working on the Obesity and Colon Cancer Project--working with tissue cultures.
I might get into the creative writing class after all. I finally declared my English minor. So apparently that gives me a little tiny bit of preference over the non-English major/minor people. It sounds like a cool class. if not...I have another lined up.
I'm exhausted.
