I got a job. I got a car. Life can start falling into place soon. My old friends are lucky I don't know where they live otherwise I'd go to their places in the middle of the night and yell "Stella!" Getting independence from my mom is going to be tough. Not because I can't do it but because she wants to help me too much. My brother, Rashad, graduated from UGA. He's still a kid; I don't know if that's his fault or not. Rash is living with my mom right now until he finds a career. For the time being he's going to work at a Wal-mart. I told my mom that I wanted to help Rashad find a monthly lease apartment(since we don't know where he'll be once he finds a real job), but she said it was a waste of his money and living at her place gives him motivation to get a career. Monthly rent apartment, $600-700. Independence, paying your own bills and the extra maturity that comes with it, priceless. That's my thought process anyway. BTW, I'm not saying my mom sucks, she's just very loving, caring, and sweet. But sometimes you get to the point where you just don't want to be coddled anymore. I'll always love my mommy.
