Well, the point is really that the beauty is on the inside, so while of course you should take pride in your outer appearance, the size of your rear end has nothing to do with how beautiful you are!

Although if she really had looked terrible, I'm sure Gallant would've found a polite and considerate way to tell her! It's all in the words you use!
