Saturday was the perfect day at Mammoth. Blue skies, mild weather, little wind, and freshly groomed powder. I plugged in my iPod and skied for almost six hours straight... it was so peaceful and serene.
A snowstorm blew in Saturday night and snowed us in on Sunday. I managed three runs in a complete whiteout before retiring for the day and riding bitch the whole way home.
All in all an amazing time. I'd love to play hooky and go again this Thursday/Friday, but I have a midterm on Monday that I ought to be studying for.
