Collections Post~
So, I finally got my stuff organized enough to take some collection pictures. I also have some extra Kids figures, new in Japanese boxes, available for sale!
Here is my current main collection: Jolteon! It makes me sad that it's so small, but at least I have a few new additions on their way. Thanks to
jedi_amara for the Amada sticker I just got yesterday!
The cel is from the anime episode The Ultimate Test, where Ash is taking a battling exam. If I remember right, he is in the middle of using Agility here. ^_^ I also have the pencil sketch that goes with it, but I haven't yet taken them in to get both pictures framed together in one fancy frame.
Of the Pokemon I collect, Jolteon is the only one I'm trying to get all the cards for. I can't seem to find my English Lt. Surge's or Dark Jolteon, so I'm looking for another of both of those.
Lalala original Jungle Jolteons. The last one is autographed by Kagemaru Himeno, the card illustrator. (I didn't get it signed myself, and actually just have to hope it's actually a real autograph and not just someone faking it, since I got it off eBay...ah well, it wasn't expensive!)
Light Jolteon is so cute <3
More holo Jolteon, and a CoroCoro promo. I really like the pictures on these. The Delta Species one has such attitude XD
And the other promos and rares. I'll probably pull out the Jolteon ex and star and make a deck with them, though I hate to get them all scratched up...
Other Pokemon:
Meowth is the first Pokemon I really collected. I haven't really focused on it since I moved out of my parents' house a few years ago, so a lot of my stuff is still over there. The one with the chest and the pillow is a talking bank that yells "Thief!" in Japanese if you take money out, and says something more pleasant sounding if you put money in. (I might actually recognize what that one is now that I know more Japanese, but I have yet to replace the batteries in it.)
The Pokedoll is sadly missing..it's a Japanese only release, right? I never saw one on PokemonCenter, and I've checked it fairly often since I started collecting. If it's Japanese only, can anyone tell me how new that one is?
It's a little scary how quickly the Dialga collection is probably going to grow, since there's such a crazy amount of merch of it. I started collecting it less than a week ago, but most of the stuff I already had since I liked Dialga anyway. Much more on its way soon!
Pokedolls!
Latios and Latias have to huggle other Pokemon for support, but unlike most of the ones I have, it's not because they have no balance, but because they have no legs! *looks at the picture for a minute, then steals Latios and Snorlax to make an icon*
This is the view that greets me when I get home. ^_^ If this shelf gets so much as a light tap, everyone except Eevee and Flareon will probably fall over. They should really weight the backs of these with small sandbags or something.
The Pokedoll count is up to 24 now! (Glameow, Mudkip, and Jigglypuff not pictured, since I couldn't find a good place to fit them in. They can join on the next Pokedoll update.)
So, the Kids figures.
I went to Arlington Heights (a Chicago suburb) last week to hit the Japanese store there. (I learned to call and make sure they have Pokemon stuff before I make the 3 hour drive, since the last time I went they only had the gashapon machine, which broke after only getting 4 charms. /sigh) They did have Kids this time though, so I bought 3 cartons, and am looking to sell the extras here! ^_^
I'm asking $3.50 plus shipping for anyone except Darkrai, which is $5. The ones I have available are:
Darkrai, Glameow (x2), Lopunny (x2), Medicham (from an earlier set), Stunky (x2), Skorupi (x2), Gastrodon, Rampardos (x2), Magmortar (x2), Wormadam, Bronzor, Rhyperior (x2), Bonsly, and Vespiquen (x2).
I'm also open to trades for other Kids figures, or Jolteon/Dialga stuff I don't have. I will trade up to 4 (four!) of the above Kids for one of the Jolteon with the open mouth battle stance.
They're all new in box with the sticker card and candy. If you'd like to see the figures themselves, the site here has pictures of everyone in this set.
