“Say it,” Ryo whispers, doesn’t know if Shige’s heard him. “Say my name,” he rasps out louder, the last syllable coming out as a moan when Shige speeds up even more.

Shige’s tempo falters and then there is sweaty chest covering Ryo’s back, and Ryo barely holds them both up. Shige is kissing the nape of his neck, his hairline, finally aligning his mouth with Ryo’s ear.

“Ryo,” he says, and Ryo clenches around Shige, so hot, so right. Shige’s hand slips off Ryo’s hip and finds Ryo’s cock.

“Ryo,” Shige says again as they rock together, back and forth. Ryo manages to turn his head, sees Shige has closed his eyes, sees him struggling to say his name again.

“Ryo,” this time whispered against Ryo’s lips, and Ryo is gone, coming and collapsing onto the sheets. Shige thrusts into him, fast and hard but not for too long, soon spilling inside Ryo and shuddering on top of him.

When Shige comes back from the bathroom, Ryo takes the towel from him and eyes the younger man, who is rocking on the balls of his feet next to the bed.

“You should leave. You don’t want to drive to your photoshoot from here tomorrow morning,” Ryo says casually, gives Shige a small smile. Shige sinks onto the bed next to Ryo.

“It’s okay,” Ryo rubs his thumb under Shige’s eyes. Pretty ironic how he is the one comforting the other.

Shige shakes his head and gets up. Ryo figures he’ll leave once he picks up all his clothes, so he pulls on some boxers, gets rid of the dirty cover, and curls on his side of the bed, sleepy and sated. When the bed dips next to him and Shige lies there, on his back, Ryo knows it is an act of pity. Shige reaches out with his hand awkwardly, touches Ryo’s back.

“You are just making me fall harder,” Ryo breathes out. Pity or not, Shige is trying.

Later that night, Ryo wakes up to a body curled against his, and Shige’s arm under his own head. Ryo knows it’s all just sympathy, that Shige is trying to understand, but understand only. He still finds himself chasing a sliver of hope that he does not manage to squash. He pulls the covers over them. At least this means Shige is not cutting him off.

Anon-san, I am, like, blown-away. This was perfect. It was honestly just, exactly, what I wanted. I love how you wrote their relationship, the hints from Ryo that he wanted more, like with how he enjoyed hearing Shige say his first name, how he wanted morning afters and just hanging out watching TV. It was adorable and sad at the same time and I just felt for Ryo through this whole thing.

Especially after he tells Shige he loves him and Shige wants to stop because he doesn't want to use Ryo. And I LOVED that a lot, because Shige was actually trying to be considerate. Of course, Ryo will just take what he can get and ;alskdn;lasd All of the sex in this was AMAZING. I really, really loved that you split it up this way and showed how they had this friends-with-benefits kind of relationship, how it was just something they both needed (and then, of course, ended up changing for Ryo with those pesky feelings getting in the way).

The ending with Shige not leaving after sex, instead lying beside Ryo and putting his hand on his back, omg. T___T I loved that like crazy. And how Ryo knows it's pity and sympathy but it only makes him love Shige more. T___T Oh my god, how do you do this, Anon-san? T__T It is seriously PERFECT. And the ending, Shige curled around Ryo's back and Ryo having that bit of hope a;skndalsd;lg ;___; So much love omg.
