A new year
2011 proved to be better in many ways than 2010. Overall, it was a pretty good year (albeit stressful at times). I made new friends, reconnected with many old friends, made it halfway to earning a doctorate, put some God into my life, and even booked my dream vacation to Ireland! As I'm laying here in bed avoiding post-party cleanup and listening to both my boyfriend and my dog snore way louder than I thought possible, I can't help but think how lucky and how blessed I am to have all these wonderful people in my life, and to be able to experience everything I've had the opportunity to experience. I can only hope 2012 will be so kind to me.
