I Can Do This! It's There!

Sounds like an appropriate PB title.:)

Anyhow, just working on sharpening the research focus to include more practical experiences. The editing and retightening faulty and windy sentence constructions once frightening are no more. It's easier to insert more of my classroom ESL teaching experience while leaning a little less on the theory. (It's there!) By applying myself, I'm realizing that I can write a 200 page or so book on my action research based aka: reading project.

Three months ago, before I made the transition to come to the States, I was feeling daunted and totally overwhelmed. (Anne Lamott: Bird by Bird) By seeking support from people from vitual territories however, and beyond I never thought I would, I'm realizing that it pays to chip away at those areas of my writing (ie. research gathering) and to find a voice that is unique and all my own. It's there!

We all have own special gifts where writing is concerned, but unfortunately we let other thoughts interfere and complicate our own perceptions and what can result in  a more steady and fluid process. I know from my own experience, I greatly tend to let thoughts loosely become in the way, (and with writing long manuscripts, one tends to not see the end and become equally frustrated) but I'm learning to work with the knots and unfinished bits, until I can call it a process all my own.

Looking forward of course to that sweet day!

Never ever underestimate the power of hard work. You can do this!
