(no subject)
okay, well, i'm gonna repaint my room.. .a lighter blue.. i want it to be relaxing and serene. ironically, i love colour so much that i think i now need a break from it. i painted the guest room bright red.. yeah. and the family room green- you guys saw that. and the basement lilac, and the other office/guestroom light pink/peach... looks nicer than it sounds. and the master bathroom green too. yeah, i like colour. but i think i need to declutter my room and lighten it up a bit. i don't know how to go about it though. usually the idea is already in my mind and i know exactly what i want. this time i don't. i want light colours- romantic (i.e. victorian), but not.. nautical, but not, french country, but not- i want some colour, but not too much.. muted colours, but not boring.. i don't know.. it seems impossible! at first i was thinking like nautical kind of theme.. .meaning blues and beach kind of theme.. but then i wanted the other light colours like 'dusty rose' (but not on the walls). i don't know... and one of my family friends (well, closer than that.. our grandmothers were best friends in india, and they still live near us in toronto) is getting married! so, people are going to be staying in our house. plus my uncle is coming over. meaning me and my bro will have to vacate our rooms... well, whatever.
