jent_ic entries (part 1)
As some of you may know, I joined in a community called
jent_ic where the mod posts an icon challenge every week. I have not been faithful in submitting icons for every challenge, but I do find it fun to join the contest.
I've only won once though. LOL.

Rachelle has been meaning to do something like this but I don't know why she hasn't posted her stuff. I think I have voted her icons several times before. XD She won twice already.
And her sister, Icon Master jcshinoda-san, has won a lot of times already that I've lost count. XD (Please teach me sensei.)
So yeah, I wanted to post my icons here just because. Feel free to comment on them (like, tell me why I failed. LOL.), and you can even grab some if you want. Credits are appreciated. XD

The icons are arranged from oldest to most recent.
Icons 1-3 are the first ones I made. And I personally think they suck a lot. Hahaha... I only used Photobucket for those because I didn't have Photoshop in my pc. XD The theme for this first challenge is "Freestyle" so you can pretty much do anything you want. I don't know why I chose Kame for this challenge... Perhaps because he's cute?
Icons 4-6 are the ones I made for the second challenge, "Live". So the icons are supposed to be of Johnny's boys performing live. I made Nino ones, because he's awesome--so I don't think I need to elaborate.
Icons 7-8 are for the "Smile" challenge. I immediately thought of Aiba niban because he has the most endearing smile I think. Had Jun's drama "Smile" come out at the same time, I would have chosen him. LOL. I like the icons I made for this challenge. They both look pleasant and happy. Haha.
Icons 9-11 are for the fourth challenge, which required us to choose pictures from the KAT-TUN 09 calendar. By this time, I have discovered more stuff in Photoshop--though they still don't look impressive. Haha. But it was in this challenge that I won something. Many thanks to Maru and the bottle.
Icon 12 is for challenge 5, "PV". It was around that time that I saw Arashi's PV of Hitomi no naka galaxy for the first time, so I made one icon from it. I was feeling a bit lazy and semi-uninspired so I only made one. XD But it's a Nino icon again so I love it anyway. Hahaha...
*I made a lot of Nino icons if you haven't already noticed*
Icons 13-14 are for the "Melancholy/Gloomy" challenge. The sixth challenge. I have been consecutively submitting icons up until this time. Lol. There's the gloomy "no-life-without-you" Nino icon with the yellow background, and the emo Matsujun icon. I did not realize until now that I chose Arashi's emo babies for this challenge. XD
Challenge 7 was "Pairings". I think I was pretty busy and uninspired again at that time so I wasn't able to submit anything. I remember wanting to make an Ohmiya icon... but never actually got into making it. XD
Challenge 8 was "Black and White" and I still didn't make any icons for that. Haha. I tried, but it came out wrong so I decided not to submit.
And then there's challenge 9...
Icons 15-16 are for that challenge... "NEWS". I made an icon of Massu because he looked adorable in that picture, and I made another one of Yamapi and Ryo together. Maybe I should have entered that in the "pairings" challenge, ne?
Challenge 10 is "Silly/Crazy". I remember suggesting this theme. I think some other members suggested it too. Unfortunately, I didn't submit anything here. Perhaps I was out of town that time? (or out of internet coverage area?)
Challenge 11 was different, and I badly wanted to submit something. We were supposed to make DRAMA BANNERS. But I didn't make on because I couldn't find an inspiring picture. I was thinking of making a Yamada Taro Monogatari banner--but I failed. >_<
Icons 17-18 are for challenge 12--"Close ups". And, yes, as you can see. I made Nino close ups because I love seeing him upclose (and personal XD). I love the Nino with the cherry blossoms scan so I made one of that. And I adore Nino with glasses looking all cute even though he still looks 17 in work clothes. XD I feel his pain.
Icons 19-20 are the latest ones I made. The them for the 13th challenge is "Kanjani 8". I don't really know much about Kanjani 8 so Rachelle had to help me out with this one. ^^ I chose Yasu because I liked his smile in that picture, and I thought that Shingo looked nice in the other picture. LOL. Before I made these, I only knew Yoko and Ryo from Kanjani... oh and Subaru too, for some reason. Hehe.

Yosh, that's it for my rambles. I hope I can submit icons for the 14th challenge. The theme is "red". o.0
