Crazy
This last week has been crazy. But I wanted to update because a lot has happened. So last Thursday I went out with Todd to Saddle Ridge. If you get there before 11 its all you can drink for under ten bucks if you're a student. Well we went, got a couple pitchers of budlight then Todd pulls out the ping pong balls. So we have a beer pong tournament right in the middle of the bar. It was great. But out of the group I went with, I was the only girl. So my drink was never empty. Anyways, Carrie, I wanted you to be the first to know, he finally made a move and kissed me. He's been crushing on me for what, a year now? Well he finally did. And he mentioned you. Were you trying to hook us up or what did you talk to him about???? I'm confused.
Anyways, well then my friend Andrew showed up. We use to have a thing and we still call each other for random makeouts. Anyways, he was pissed. He came up to me and was like "I'm not letting you go with that guy. I don't trust him. He's going to use you." And I'm thinking, You're much better? But I ended up walking back with Andrew, his roomate and his rommate's girlfriend. She was so nice and so much fun. So we went back to her place and stayed the night.
Then I went to the lab Friday with the biggest hangover ever. Not cool. This weekend I tried to get ahead on hw but it didn't happen. Saturday night I went out with Lisa and her kids. Her oldest is going to be 5 in March! I remember holding her at the hospital! Anyways, they were so cute. In unison they would go "We love you auntie Sarah." Then Lisa and I were watching a movie and Jayden(older girl) fell asleep on me and Jason(2) fell asleep on her. Then she tells me she pregnant again. I wish her the best. She just recently moved out of a hotel because they had no where to go. I mean, growing up she was my big sis and I always went to her when I had problems. More than anyone else, she taught me about the real world.
Then Sunday I went to church, came back and played my video game all afternoon. It was great.
Monday I went to this seminar over DNA mismach repair in Leukemia patients. Well what was cool was that it was a graduate level seminar and I understood it. Then my old lab tech was there and I talked to him about grad school. I had never really concidered it but because of a lot of things that have happened to me this semester I'm really looking into it. I mean, I'm tired of school, but I could go so much further in my research and my career. But I still have time to thing about that.
Then that night, Matt King called me. It was his 21st birthday and he asked if we could watch a movie. So I went over there and we watched the Black Daria. It was an ok movie but Josh Harnette is so HOT so I didn't care. Yummy.
Tuesday was a beast. I had class from nine to 5. Then met up to work on physics hw with Ryan, (the australian). Him and I are becoming really good friends. He's a lot of fun. But I was so tired yesterday. I came home, ate and fell asleep at 10 while doing my physics hw. Then I woke up this morning with my unfinished hw in front of me. Not cool. I got it done but then was late to class.
Class was easy and I played with virus in the lab until 7. Micheal came over with cookies because he has a thing for my roomate. I think its cute! Then I went on a date wit my friend Kevin and honestly, him and I will always and only be friends, but this is the best Valentine's date I've ever had. He came to pick me up and had a half dozen red roses. They are so pretty! I haven't gotten flowers in forever. But then we went to IHOP. afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble. I love, absolutely LOVE going to book stores. I like looking at the books and discussing literature and fiction with people. I guess it fits. Take a dork to a bookstore and they'll be happy. But I love to read so its always a fun time for me. Then when he dropped me off we just sat and talked and watched the snow fall from the sky until it got really cold. then he walked me to the door and gave me a hug goodnight.
Also this last weekend Micheal H. and I planed our spring break trip. We are going to Texas because we can. We are starting that Friday and driving though Nashville, Memphis, TN, Jackson MS, then we are stopping at a beach near Huston for the day. Then Micheal has family there so we are going to chill for the night. Then I have a friend from Cedar Point that we are going to meet up with in Dallas. Next to Oklahoma City, then to St. Louis where my friend Joe lives and he's offered to let us crash. Then strait back to Lexington. I may have a friend in Laffayette if I can get a hold of her. Nikki, do you still read these? Do you know how to get a hold of Stephanie Hucko? We are taking my laptop for movies, music, and internet when we can steal it. We are taking an adaptor in the car so the battery will never die. I'm hyped!
But I'm tired and have another meeting with my mentor. Tomorrow I haven't decided if I'm going to get drunk with Rick, John, and Chase, or if I'm heading back out to saddle ridge with Todd because he's been texting me all week. I'll let you know. Anyways, Night!
