(no subject)
I love IUP right now. I decided that I was going to be cool this semester, not complain about having such an amount of time til I was 21 and the like and I think that mindset has been really good for me. I played DD once this weekend and I was very proud of myself. One of Holly's friends was having a bbq and Holly and her roommate drank a whole lot (which wasn't so good since Holly had to go to work), it was a lot of fun. Kenny and everyone kept saying "everyone here drove and we're all drinking" but I didn't drink and now Holly, her roommate Ashley and I are not dead. Woohoo!
I like all my classes. We already have a partner assignment in Applications and Tech of motion pictures. The guy I asked to be partners (he was sitting next to me) just happens to be in another one of my classes and he's a cool guy. Should turn out to do well.
Now, we have new dorms this year, they're called the suites on Grant and damn are they most excessive and gawdy things ever. Holly and I went walking in them and dude, first you have to swipe two doors to actually get in, then you have to swipe for your hall and then your room. Who do they think is going to break in? We're in Indiana, PA for for crying out loud! The halllways are really wide and... sterile, I don't know how else to say it. But then again, they do look awfully comfortable.
