Eeep!
So many things are going on right now. I've not been doing a whole lot besides help where I can. Dom arrived Tuesday and things have been crazy, furnishing their new apartment and do all kinds of last minute wedding details. Dom is hanging with his groomsmen this weekend for his bachelor party (or Stag do as he calls it) and Claire is camping so we have a little breather but not really because we still need to get the house in order for guests of all kind next week. My dad's 60th birthday is on Tuesday so we're also preparing for that!
My mom is extra stressed, not only because she's got a weird definition of clean that's almost impossible to reach, but because my Grandmother is in the hospital. She's almost 88 so everything bad is scary. The doctors can't figure out what's causing her bizarre symptoms (oral bleeding, sudden lesions and swelling) and of course this means that she and my Grandaddy can't come to the wedding. Claire is going to be sad when she finds out, she was really wanting them to come, of course that's not important right now, we just want her to recover. On the plus side, this means less shuffling for reception meals, since my Mom's cousin Noel from London just announced yesterday (THE WEDDING IS IN A WEEK PEOPLE!) that he's coming to the wedding after all! I seriously want to elope if I ever get married!
