You open your eyes, looking at the note.
It read: Great job baby! Now, you just have to go to…
Yeah, you were going to kill him.

After another couple of goosechases around the park, 4 but who was counting?, you decide to sit down on a nearby bench at your latest point. You struggle to take off the torture devices you called shoes so your poor feet could rest.
In your hand was another note from Brendon and you wondered how long will this insane game last. Hopefully, not all morning because you would be too tired to strangle him.
Sighing, you decide to give it one more go before you went ‘fuck it’ and just sit somewhere. You hold up the note, reading what was written there:
Sorry about making you run all over the park like that. But I needed you to be tired so you’ll have to sit on the bench and complain to yourself so that you don’t notice me sneaking up behind you.
“Hey,” he whispered in your ear, kissing your neck. “Speak of the devil, eh?”
“Yeah,” you said, smiling at him and suddenly no longer having the urge to murder the singer. Those eyes and smile of his always did that. “I really hope that this is it.”
You look at him and see that he was wearing a dashing tuxedo and attempted to comb his hair. You couldn’t help but feel touched on how hard he tried to look good for today.
“It is, my lady,” he assures you and he suddenly picked you up bridal style, beaming like a hero. “Allow me to escort you there.”
You laugh out in surprise, wiggling and asking him to put you down as he ignores you and marches on to the actual area where your present was. Well, this was unexpected. The carrying, that is.

For the special occasion, they were wearing tuxedos and ties even in the chilly weather just like Brendon. You have a feeling they were blackmailed into wearing that.
A few feet away from the stage was a small table covered with a table cloth of your favorite color, on the table was a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice, a flute glass and a bowl of chocolates.
“A…a concert,” you said, dumbstruck by the realization now, “just for…me?”
“Yep!” Brendon said, kissing you on the cheek as he helped you down to your feet and led you to the chair to sit.
“You always supported me whenever I was with the guys,” he continued, “you were always there when drama hit and gave me the strength. You helped us whenever we had a fight. You helped the band out and, as the band in whole, want to say thank you.”
You sat down and brushed your eyes, feeling some tears coming. “I…I don’t know what to say.”
“Don’t baby,” he said as he hopped on stage, making it squeak a bit. “Let me do it.” He turned to guys, throwing them a grin that they too were mirroring. “Ready guys?”
“Yeah!”
“One…two…one two three-“
