i am thoroughly convinced it's about William, because he mentions the basement. When he was asked what It's Warmer In The Basement was about he said, "it's about loving someone too much, like having William Beckett in your basement."

i feel like the song's about when William was going to tell the world about his family (that he has a daughter)... Gabe is telling him to go right on ahead, and to not listen to what they say about them (Gabilliam). because they'll make it through. :')

that could probably be turned into a fic... hmm. :P
