... work is over for the week.
... the worst midterm ever is over.
... letting other people dictate my schedule is over (well, at least for the next 4 days. I am on no set schedule until I have to be at work at 8am Tuesday.
Work was rough today. Let the team go at 2. Let myself go at 3. Crashed in Winter Park on a futon that outsmarted me sometime around 3:45. Woke up at 6:45 and went back in for the assessment. I'm glad that there are some people out there that get that we have a lot of shit to do from day to day so we might be missing a few pieces of paper here and there. In the middle of walking Food Ave/Starbucks, the Entertainment FM came in and wanted to walk. I excused myself from the assessment (thank God for my 2 Food TLs) and walked Entertainment - I made him make it quick ... I think he felt bad for showing up on assessment day. Went back to the visit. Talked to the DTL for a few ... good talk. Lunch. Went in my office to study for that midterm. Ended up crying because I was just over it. Strangely enough as I was crying my eyes out in my office I got a text message that said "you ok?" ... very very strange. Was working on some other stuff when I got called to Guest Service to walk with Johnson Diversity (the sanitation people) ... just wasn't my day. He kept it quick too, which was appreciated. Sat through the recap - nothing we didn't already know, then left to go borrow the laptop, then to school. Walked into class 45 min late. Did some last minute studying ... probably got a 70-something on the test ... had I actually had a minute to breathe this week, I probably could have aced it. Guess that's what happens when you put in 11 long days at work during a 12 day period.
Oh well.
iPod is updated. Car is washed/vaccuumed/cleaned out/gassed up. Need to put air in the tires in the morning. Jesse and I are leaving at 6 to drive to Fontana Village ... yay for the Dragon. Good ridance CFL until my return.
This week has been emotionally depleting and I'm glad it's over.
