More bad doctoring
I have absolutly positively had it with a doctor who is so high on himself he will not listen when told how to solve a problem, then when I finally let him have it so he listened, he complained about how hard it was before. I am FURIOUS and will finally be filing a complaint over the incredibly lousy and repeatedly insulting service over the last few weeks.
Next step, figuring out how. That is tomorrow's task.
Long story short: After having the wrong appointment booked three seperate times, they "squeezed me in" after hours tonight. The doctor was clearly in a rush (they booked 5 minutes for a 20 minute scan) and the assistant left half way though. He refused to believe me that the baby is sitting (Just like Channah did) VERY low. Also, funny enough, I am fat. I have learned over the years how to deal with this problem. A doctor choosing to ignore that fact and not listen to what I have learned over the years is going to make me angry. He refused to follow a slightly modified procedure (scan lying down rather than semiprone- the same way every other one this pregnancy has been with no trouble whatsoever) I had read about, and seen in action earlier in the week with the fetal echo (so I knew to work well) because "it will not make a difference" and ended up pushing on the tranducer so hard he really hurt me. Not only that, but when I finally MADE him try the other way (and it worked easily and without pain) he went on about "how difficult it was to do" and "how difficult" I was.
Meantime I should point out that after the allotted 5 minutes he wanted to just make me rebook, in Jerusalem (remember, no car, an hour bus ride each way) for another time (so this would have been the 4th rebooking) where there are "better machines" (remember, I had the fetal echo earlier this week on an ultrasound machine meant for infants. Also, the one here is billed repeatedly as "top of the line" high resolution so I really do not tihnk there is ANY difference between the one here and the one there. Not to mention other than the fetal echo EVERY other scan I have had done has been on this machine. Oh, and when he finally listened to me, IT WORKED FINE,
I have no idea if he got everything he needed or not as he would barely speak to me. He would not answer question, spoke so quietly I could barely hear him when he did say anything, and refused to even try to translate words I did not know.
