A/N: I'm probably going to be busy for the next couple of days so I don't know if I'll be able to update or not. Sorry!
When dinner was finished, they all sat down together,
talking and having a good time eating. Sungmin and Kyuhyun were a lot of fun to
talk to, and as they ate, it slowly grew darker and darker. When they had all
finished eating, a comfortable silence fell among both couples.
“Hey,” said Sungmin to Siwon, “why don’t you take Yesung
down to the seashore? I’m sure he’d love to see it.”
“Oh,” said Siwon, “okay, after we clean up we can go.”
“No, no” said Sungmin, “don’t worry about it. Kyuhyun and I
will take care of it. Just go have fun on your day off.” Siwon raised an
eyebrow, but Sungmin sent Yesung a look.
“Uh, maybe we should go,” said Yesung and Siwon shrugged.
“Alright, if you want to.” Yesung smiled and he and Siwon
stood up, leaving the picnic table area behind them.
As they walked to the seashore, stars started to appear
overhead and the moon reflected on the surface of the water. Walking along and
leaving footprints on the sand, Yesung smiled contentedly. It was really nice
out. Although it was a little chilly, he didn’t mind. Siwon was right next to
him, he could smell the sea, and the scenery around him was more beautiful than
he could’ve ever imagined. After they had walked a fair distance, Siwon sat
down on the sand, patting a spot next to him. Obliging, Yesung sat down as
well, staring out at the water.
“I’m really glad we came here,” said Yesung, “it’s
beautiful.” Siwon smiled.
“Yeah, it is.” Yesung turned his head to look at Siwon,
seeing him staring out at the water. Once again, he was reminded of how
handsome Siwon was. Noticing him staring, Siwon turned to look at Yesung.
Embarrassed that he had been caught staring, Yesung looked down, but Siwon
reached out and touched his cheek gently, surprised a little at the action,
Yesung’s eyes drifted back up to Siwon’s. Yesung’s heart started to race and he
could feel his cheeks heating up, but he didn’t move, gaze locked on Siwon’s,
he swallowed, feeling his breath catching in his throat.
Without another word, Siwon leaned in, and Yesung’s eyes
closed. A second later, he felt Siwon’s lips against his, gentle and soft.
Leaning into the kiss a little, Yesung could feel the world stopping all around
him. When he opened his eyes and pulled away a second later, he could still
feel the kiss lingering on his lips. Siwon smiled softly at him and put his
hand over Yesung’s own, clasping it, before looking back out at the water.
Smiling too, Yesung stared out at the water too. The two of them just stayed
like that for a while before standing and heading hand in hand back towards the
cottage.
When they arrived, they didn’t see Sungmin and Kyuhyun, so
they decided to look around. It didn’t seem as if they were anywhere in the
cottage. Then, Yesung found a note on the table.
‘Something came up and we had to head back early, but don’t
worry about us. You two just enjoy yourselves for the night. Everything is all
set up for you. Hope you both have a good time, sorry again about having to
leave before you. ~Sungmin’
Yesung shook his head. He should have known. Passing the
note to Siwon, he went to check out the rest of the rooms. Most of them were
empty, except for one that had two beds made up. Walking back out to where
Siwon was, he sighed. Sungmin was really sly. Though, he supposed, it wasn’t
always such a bad thing. Yesung smiled. He could just imagine walking in to the
restaurant the next time he worked with Sungmin. He was probably going to be
overwhelmed with questions.
