(no subject)
I was going to post before I left for England, but I didn't get around to it. Sorry.
Wrapped up all the important stuff and got packed up with time to spare, with help from my mommy & daddy. Was randomly selected to be the lucky recipient of extra security measures at the airport I was flying out of: I was padded down and my shoes and bags were swabbed for traces of explosives. Awesome.
Had a bit of a holdup from Immigration at Heathrow - the officer I got saw the stain on my passport and made me sit tight for about 20 minutes while he went to make sure I wasn't lying about why it got branded. Thankfully everything checked out okay, and I was sent on my way with my visa activated.
Headed into central London and spent an hour and a half or so with annaham, then took a taxi to Paddington Station. Caught my train, despite being hampered by the handle of my heaviest suitcase not extending at all and having to walk with inefficient baby steps.
Now I'm in Bristol with Tim, resting up and getting acclimated to life in the UK once again. I'll post again a bit later once I'm nore settled and I know my contact info for Exeter.
