1. I once had to dress up as Mrs. Frizzle (from the Magic School Bus) for work (see below).
2. During my senior year in high school, I worked in the local Waldenbooks, where my assigned section was romance.
3. I know how to say "There's a fish in your pants" in French. And nothing else.
4. My crazy cat is named after Lina Lamont, from Singin' in the Rain, because she's just as selfish and, when she whines, sounds just like her.
5. I didn't have a waffle cone until I was 23. It didn't live up to the imagination.
6. I used to study phytoplankton as a freshman in college.
7. I met my best friend from college one day because I was complaining about how I needed someone to go to Newton with me for a Jane Austen Society of North America meeting.
8. I was named for the Third Law of Thermodynamics.
9. I used to fence epee in college.
10. I love Cheetos.
11. If not watched, I will laze away and be completely useless.
12. Joshua Bell once told me that I have great legs.
13. I love German techno.
14. My first fandom was Sailor Moon.
15. One of my all-time favorite movies is Amelie.
16. There are three men in the world whom I'd run off with, Jeff or no Jeff: Carl Philip, the prince of Sweden, and Nathan Fillion, who plays Mal on Firefly, and (of course) Eric Gagne, the closer for the Dodgers.
17. My favorite Madonna song is "Like a Prayer".
18. I love baseball.
19. I collect hats; I buy them and gush over them and wear them on the way home for the store. Then I never find occasion to wear them again.
20. I used to live across the street from a convent. In the last few weeks, it's been taken down and there is just dirt.
