I know it's been a while since I posted...sorry about that.
Things have been uneventful.
My doctor took me off the MS meds and wants to start me on a new one. This one will cost $28K/year. Can you hear the insurance company screaming? Anyway, I'm just waiting on a call from the doc's office making an appt for me. Instead of a shot every day, I will go to the doctor's office for a 1 hour infusion, followed by a 1 hour observation to make sure I don't have a reaction.
I like that part.
But I'm nervous and anxious to start. I haven't been off meds since I was dx'd in 2001. My safety net is gone.
Al is keeping me on the run with her basketball. Ben's is wrapping up, so the need to clone myself is almost over.
We are very icy here. I hate the ice. Give me snow, but keep the fricking ice.
