Edit: This post is boring so I underlined things that I thought a few people might find interesting.

I feel like there are a lot of things that have happened recently that are worth mentioning, and I feel like mentioning some of those now.

-Chad came to visit and bring me home - parts were good and parts were bad (the bad was me sleeping instead of doing my schoolwork and him getting frustrated)
-We stayed with Steph and it was great and so is her hair.
-New York is so expensive and it drives me crazy but Chad and I are seriously considering moving there next summer.

-I met Ben Folds and saw him in concert for like, the fourth and seventh times and both were great. The greatest parts were when he signed my picture of David Byrne and when the bassist said to Chad, "Oh yeah, I'm sure I'll see you at Tower - I'm in there all the time - hey, you guys should come see my other band play sometime." in a really genuine sounding way.

-We visited my Oma on the way home.

-I've lost like, 20 pounds and it makes me happy but it's time to get both a job and more medication because I've been gaining weight back and I've also been tired as hell and I know I'm wrong about it making my life better but it sure seems like it does a lot sometimes.
-I need money so much. It was all spent in New York.

-I'm signing up for two classes at MTSU; both are upper division English courses. One is a Film Noir class and the other is Southern Literature (And you're supposed to have all these dumb prerequisites but I called and was like, "Look, I'm taking these classes." and they were all like "okay.")

-Oh yeah, Steph and Chad and I went out to dinner with Bruce and god is he cool. Then he hugged me and said we could hang out next semester even if he's not teaching at Sarah Lawrence. Now I still have to finish my work for him so that he'll still be friends with me.

-Oh, I have like, four days to finish all of this semester's school work, and then I get to start school for a month again.

Here's possible jobs I might be getting:
1) some shitty warehouse job for a book company that pays $11 an hour. But get this, if you're late twice, they fire you.
2) front desk clerk at a hotel that would probably pay somewhat decent
3) doing promotions for some marketing company that involves going to bars and providing smokers with free Camel cigarettes that I think would pay around $9 or $10 an hour (but don't tell my mama).

-I should also say that I've barely read live journal in the past two weeks so I have no clue what's going on with most of you. I kind of stop keeping up as much during the summers.

Okay, bye.

P.S. Talking Heads are still the best and today my sister and I exercised to Stop Making Sense and then she asked me if that was how I lost so much weight and I answered "Kind of."

P.P.S. Last thing - Okay, the Stella pilot is definitely good. But I must say, nothing quite beats drinking with your boyfriend and close friend of both, who knows every line of every State sketch like you do and watching classic State tapes as you get drunk. Seriously, Stella is good, especially since Edward Norton is on it, and god are there some good moments of classic State humor, but let's not forget about where they started. And if you live in New York City or probably other places you can get a copy of the pilot, also it's probably online. The End.
