I just wanted to say that yesterday (except actually the day before yesterday on the 7th) was my birthday, and I am 21 now.
Steph and I went to Palisades mall and ate at Macaroni Grille and my momma paid for it and I got three drinks and they were all very good. And a server who was not ours kept hitting on Steph. Then we went to the hipster store (a.k.a the 99 cent store) which was much better than the dollar stores in Nashville. I bought I heart Jesus barrettes which I really like, but I am going to sell them to dumb hipsters on ebay. I can't wait to wear them and be so ironic.
Then we went to the pet store and I got depressed because the dogs looked so sad and we had to leave. But I saw a Phoebe dog who was really cute but then it shat in the cage so..we had to leave for that too.
My parents sent me beautiful flowers.
My boyfriend is coming to visit me on Thursday for my birthday/Valentine's day and it will be wonderful. He is bringing presents for me..from him and my parents. And he is also bringing backrubs and love.
My favorite teacher in the whole world got me a birthday present...and...wow. Uh... seriously, what? I don't have anything else to say about that because it is like, unreal.
I am already behind on my schoolwork and I hate webboard posts so much.
I googled "hate" and this is what I found:
God that's so true.
Also this:
This picture kind of describes how I feel because right now I have a lot of hate in my heart for webboards, but I am also really excited and happy about a lot of things. ....things like sex and language and "about me".
Here is my class schedule:
Mondays: film screening of some way boring movie for the class Based on a True Story? Latin American History through Film 3:30-5:30
Tuesdays: film screening for Film Genre and Lesbian/Gay/Transgender Representations 10 am - 12
Wednesdays: Writing Workshop (this is scary) 11:00 - 1:00 Latin American history through film 3:30-5:30 (this class sucks) Also, this is my long day.
Thursdays: Gay film class 1:00-3:30; that's 2 and a half hours! then usually two film screenings from 7:00 pm - 10:00.
I like my schedule pretty much. There's a lot of reading. Also, um, have you ever seen Superstar: the Karen Carpenter Story directed by Todd Haynes (velvet goldmine)? Because if you haven't, you're missing out on life. I'm not sure why we watched it because it doesn't seem too gay to me, but it rocks hardcore. Oh, and it's done with Barbies.
I have been waiting for a package for what seems like my whole life. But really like..two weeks. I already know my zeal indicates that there's a problem, so fuck you.
Thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday and told me happy birthday because that was nice, and if you forgot, that's okay because I forget birthdays sometimes.
Will someone please write me a story and make my webboard post that was due 13 hours ago please? Okay, bye.
