Bon Jovi
Oh. My. God. Richie Sambora and JON BON JOVI smiled at me and Heidi tonight!!!!!!!!!!! See, here's the thing: Heidi got tickets a while ago and I was planning on driving like a maniac back from Rockford (where I was supposed to be working) to the concert and then back to Rockford afterward. It would be rushed, but it would still be Bon Jovi. However, due to flooding, the Rockford run was canceled, so I'm home. On Sunday, I was in my kitchen and I randomly put on 96.3. I heard "Bon Jovi" and tuned in intently. They were having a contest at the Fisher Building Monday morning called "Big Hair for Bon Jovi". The 25 people with the biggest hair would win a pair of tix to the concert AND the special SIDE STAGE EXPERIENCE - meaning we got to go up right next to the stage for like 5 songs!!!!!!!!!! So yeah, I went down to Detroit at 7AM with super-big hair and a home-made t-shirt. And I won. :-) I have NEVER been that close to a rock legend in my entire life. :-) Even excluding that amazing experience, the whole concert was just outstanding. He is just such an incredible performer - so fun and SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! :-) Heidi and I totally rocked out and I am just still in a bit of shock that I experienced just a little piece of Heaven tonight. :-) Have A Nice Day, everyone. ;-P
