and the countdown really begins

I will get my keys to my new apartment 14 days and 10 hrs. from now. I can't believe that the time has gone by so fast. At first I worked a little then had a big chunk of time off which I just relaxed and bummed around and pretty much wasted away. Then all of a sudden they needed me at work again, so for 2 weeks I actually worked for all 8 hrs. of the work day... shocking I know. Now I'm done. I have all of my health stuff for school taken care of except when I got my lab results back today I found out that I have to go get re-vaccinated for chicken pox b/c I'm not immune to it. Talk about an annoyance. Other than that I've just got to really start going through all my stuff since my roommate has a lot of the stuff already and figure out what I need/want to take with me and what I can pack up and leave at home. I'm really not looking forward to doing this and I've definitely been putting it off for way too long. I can already tell that next week is going to be me just going through stuff all day long, b/c I'll be running out of time. Nothing like waiting until the last possible moment to do things... typical me :)

Friday I get the lucky job of helping Joe pack up his stuff and move as much as we can to his new apartment in GR. I did volunteer to do this so I can't really complain. Plus it allows me to avoid doing my own work. I'm glad that he was able to find a place, plus when I was in GR the other weekend I drove by the complex and it looks nice from the outside at least. I didn't go in it or anything. I'll get to do that in a couple days though.

Nothing else really exciting... I've been reading like the dork that I am. My current liking is for Nicholas Sparks. I am reading The Guardian now and once I am done with that will only have 3 more of his books left. I have a whole bunch more that I want to read, but they were checked out of the library and I could put my name on the list to get the books when they become available, but the estimated wait time was too long. So I'll just keep them on my list to read when I ever get a chance again. Don't know when that will be though.

Harry Potter is about to come out ... YAY!
