Adventurous afternoon
Today was a glorious day. I met Andi this morning. She is so nice. I met her sister also. She's cool too. I like both of them a lot. We had fun on our apartment tour 2005 as I have decided to name this lovely adventure. We checked out a bunch of different apartments today. The two that we like the best of course have no vacancies currently and don't know if they will have any in the future. Good thing for us is we don't need to move in right now and we aren't planning on moving until mid-July. We put ourselves on 2 waiting lists. Hopefully something will come of that. There is an apartment available in the one complex, but not until the middle of August, so we would have to live in a hotel for a month. We might just put ourselves listed for that one, just so that we can guarantee that we have a place and then if one becomes available earlier take that. Our problem is that a couple of the apartment complexes have decided to turn condo, so the residents that can't afford to buy the place they live in now are forced to look for a new apartment. Joyous. Also, some people that are on the waiting list for 2 bedroom apartments haven't found a roommate yet, so at least I have that already taken care of. We might try to find a third roommate because I know that the waiting list for 3 bedroom apartments seems to be shorter, so we might be able to find better luck with that.
Tomorrow moomers and I are going to hang out with Andi and Kari again for the day. I don't know what we are going to be doing. I think we are going to go to the beach for a bit. Our flight leaves early on Sunday morning, so we are staying in Tampa. There's a gig tomorrow night that I won't be able to go see, but I'll catch it some other time. I'm also sad b/c I was looking up DMB online to see when they were going to be in town here... and the concert is 2 days before I will be here. :( I still really want to go to that concert in Detroit on Memorial Day w/Keane, Killers, etc. I just don't have anyone to go with and I'm a little hesitant b/c Detroit will be chaotic due to the Techno Festival and other various festivities that are going on. Well I should get some sleep since it's 4:30 am. I fell asleep this afternoon for a couple hours and that just screwed me up completely.
